Job Summary

Alpla Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance Activities
    • Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in all quality assurance activities in production and in the laboratory to ensure exceptional quality products are delivered to customers.
  • Measurement and Testing
    • Measure, record, and report dimensional, functional, and visual attributes per internally specified requirements.
    • Maintain measurement database integrity.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Control and report all nonconformance products per documented procedures.
    • Document and report all supplier quality-related issues per documented procedures.
  • Quality System Support
    • Assist in audit preparation.
    • Conduct internal audits as required.
  • Training and Monitoring
    • Train and monitor all personnel performing quality testing within the quality lab and on the production floor.
  • Sampling and Quality Control
    • Provide a signed acceptable color sample for production line at each startup.
    • Assist with sampling, including color matching, labeling, and pulling samples as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience with physical lab testing equipment, calipers, scales, digital height gauge, and compression force testing equipment preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Ability to work well with other departments.
    • Able to make decisions with little supervision.
    • Able to handle a multi-task environment with good organizational skills.
