Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Flextronics. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit processes, test, and inspect products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Develop, compile, and evaluate statistical data to define and maintain quality and reliability of products.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas to define quality and reliability standards.
  • Select processes to be audited and check for features such as ESD and handling practices, documentation, training, and process integrity.
  • Select products for audits at specified stages in the production or post-production process and test products for various qualities.
  • Record audit data and apply statistical quality control procedures.
  • Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
  • Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards, programs, or reports to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
  • Perform calibration on inspection tools and maintain gage track program.
  • Prepare graphs or charts of data or enter data into computer for research data.
  • Download quality information from quality system to be used for QA reports.
  • Research for engineering test results and implement process changes to resolve problems.
  • Perform out of box audits (OBA) as required.
  • Provide factory hold up to identify and resolve issues associated with purchased parts, materials, and manufacturing.
  • May be required to perform receiving inspection.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of related experience in electronic manufacturing.
  • Proficient in data analysis (Excel).
  • Background in quality basic concepts.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds, pull and push up to 40 pounds, and use ladders up to 5ft.
  • Ability to work on 2nd Shift (0300p-11:30a) Mon-Thurs.
