Position Overview

Join our expanding team at RAYUS Radiology as a Full-time MRI Technologist Float. This position offers the flexibility to work various shifts across multiple teams in diverse locations. Our outpatient facilities are situated in several areas, providing a dynamic work environment. We prioritize a healthy work-life balance and offer opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

(75%) Patient Imaging Duties:

  • Conducts standard and advanced MRI scans on specified body regions to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions with minimal supervision.
  • Evaluates patients prior to procedures to identify any necessary precautions or contraindications.
  • Prepares patients for MRI scans by explaining the process, positioning them appropriately, and offering support throughout the procedure.
  • Adjusts scanning parameters as required to ensure optimal imaging results.
  • Maintains positive interactions with radiologists, referring physicians, and colleagues.
  • Communicates effectively with medical staff, patients, and their families as needed.
  • Adheres strictly to physician directives and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  • Accurately documents patient information within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Keeps the work area organized and clean, promoting safety for patients and coworkers.

(20%) Imaging Support Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all imaging equipment is properly maintained and sanitized after each use.
  • Assists in updating the MRI protocol manual and implementing software enhancements.
  • Monitors and manages medical supply inventory effectively.
  • Provides training and support to new team members, sharing expertise and resources.

(5%) Additional Duties:

Performs other responsibilities as assigned to support the team and organization.
