About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Indiana University Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures in a timely and efficient manner, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow physician's instructions to prepare and operate equipment and position patients correctly to record diagnostic images.
  • Treat patients with care and respect, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance, RT(MR); or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT): Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (RMRIT), within 12 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification required. May require Advanced Life Support certification, if applicable.
  • Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
