We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at RAYUS Radiology. This role provides the opportunity to work in various shifts with multiple teams in different locations, utilizing your expertise in MRI procedures to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

(75%) Patient Imaging

  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body with minimal supervision or repeats.
  • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications.
  • Prepare patients for MR procedures, explaining the process and providing support throughout the exam.
  • Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed.
  • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
  • Communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, patients, and family members as required.
  • Follow physicians' orders precisely and adhere to safety regulations to protect patients, coworkers, and yourself.
  • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Ensure a clean and organized work area, promoting good safety habits.

(20%) Imaging Support

  • Maintain equipment in good working order, cleaning and disinfecting after each use.
  • Assist with maintaining an updated MRI protocol manual and software upgrades.
  • Monitor medical supply inventory.
  • Support the training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise.

(5%) Perform other duties as assigned.
