Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Indiana University Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures in a timely and efficient manner, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment, and positions patients correctly to record diagnostic images.
  • Treats patients with care and respect, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required, and Advanced Life Support certification may be necessary depending on the situation.
  • Requires certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • May require a license from the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), depending on the situation.
  • Must be able to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the patient's condition does not permit routine positioning.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
