Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at RAYUS Radiology. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures with minimal supervision or repeats, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
  • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and providing support throughout the exam.
  • Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed, ensuring optimal image quality.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
  • Converse with doctors, nurses, patients, and family members as required, providing excellent communication and customer service.
  • Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations, protecting patients, coworkers, and yourself.
  • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintain equipment in good working order, cleaning and disinfecting after each use.
  • Assist with maintaining an updated MRI protocol manual and software upgrades.
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Assist with training new associates, providing resource and technical expertise.
