Position Overview: CNFA is on the lookout for dedicated professionals for the Assistant Chief of Party position for the USAID-funded Feed the Future (FTF) FORK Activity. This position focuses on improving food processing methodologies, enhancing market linkages, and fostering knowledge exchange to boost access to safe and nutritious food sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the comprehensive management of the program, ensuring that objectives are accomplished within established timelines and budgets in accordance with USAID guidelines.
  • Guide the program team in providing support to stakeholders, including agricultural producers, businesses, governmental bodies, and service providers.
  • Formulate strategic plans, operational plans, and monitoring frameworks to effectively meet project objectives.
  • Manage partnerships with stakeholders and USAID, representing CNFA at various engagements.
  • Monitor project progress, oversee deliverables, and rectify any discrepancies.
  • Contribute to technical outputs and assist procurement and operational teams.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with project execution.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in agriculture, economics, or business administration.
  • A minimum of twelve years of experience in managing agricultural development initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating with USAID and international frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and effectively meet project goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of food processing, agri-food financing, and climate resilience strategies.
  • Fluency in English and French is required; Spanish proficiency is preferred.
