What will your role entail?

This administrative position serves as a foundational step towards a career in Marketing Management. The Marketing Coordinator will assist the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Assistant Director of Marketing in essential tasks that support business acquisition and client satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
MARKETING FUNCTIONS
  • Assist the Assistant Director of Marketing across various areas such as digital marketing, social media, public relations, B2B marketing, guest experiences, reputation management, and brand promotion.
  • Oversee the daily flow of marketing project requests.
  • Support digital marketing initiatives by analyzing monthly performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with PR agencies to coordinate media visits and manage the reservation process.
  • Work with Social Media agencies to create content, manage influencer collaborations, and oversee Spa-specific social channels.
  • Coordinate with Creative Agencies for the development of marketing materials, signage, and more.
  • Maintain and audit online brand presence using the Content Management System (CMS).
  • Support marketing efforts for ancillary services, including restaurants and spas.
  • Organize photo and video shoots.
GROUP SALES FUNCTIONS
  • Assist with all sales-related activities, including responding to inquiries and client requests.
  • Help coordinate customer events, sales meetings, and site visit preparations.
  • Provide telephone support for the sales and catering office.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • At least 1 year of experience in an administrative role within a hospitality environment.
  • Familiarity with Delphi/Meeting Broker/OPERA systems is advantageous.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or event coordination is beneficial.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills and excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Organizational skills and self-motivation are essential.
  • Willingness to learn about various aspects of hotel marketing.
  • Basic understanding of social media and reputation management.
  • Capability to navigate CMS platforms.
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
