Position Overview

Role Summary

The individual in this position will collaborate closely with Executive Sales Leadership to formulate a comprehensive strategy aimed at safeguarding, expanding, and pursuing new business opportunities in alignment with the OneMedline Acute Care Sales Team. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Specialty Sales, this role encompasses oversight of the Clinical sales teams and specialists within the fields of Respiratory, Vascular, Urology, and Skin Health. The VP of Clinical will leverage extensive knowledge and expertise to create effective Clinical Solutions tailored to our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing innovative initiatives for our clients that distinguish us in clinical engagement points.
  • Overseeing daily performance metrics of all sales and clinical personnel.
  • Setting sales targets by forecasting and establishing annual sales quotas for various regions and territories, while also estimating anticipated sales volume and profitability for both existing and new products.
  • Monitoring sales team performance metrics, analyzing sales volume, product mix, and pricing by staying informed on supply and demand dynamics, emerging trends, economic indicators, and competitive landscape.
  • Partnering with field sales leadership to sustain national sales team performance through coaching, motivation, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job outcomes.
  • Engaging in overarching product strategy, clinical research initiatives, and conceptual program development.
  • Identifying and analyzing market trends that impact sales, service delivery, and product innovation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing.
Experience Requirements:
  • 10+ years of sales experience, with a minimum of five years in a leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in sales management, including a history of exceeding targets.
Additional Information:
  • This position necessitates travel up to 50% of the time for business purposes.
