Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Device Support Technician I to join our team at MyMichigan Health. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our end users, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier 2 technical support for end user computer environment, including hardware, operating systems, and software.
  • Design and implement solutions to resolve technical issues, working closely with technology teams and vendors as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Document all pertinent information related to diagnosis and resolution of problems using our service desk tracking system.
  • Maintain accurate records of time spent on issues and manage resources responsibly.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer/Information Science/Business preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of technical experience in the field, with expertise in enterprise desktop software, network architecture, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong knowledge of scripting and experience with iOS, Android, and mobile device management solutions.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to stressful situations and potentially infectious materials. Must be able to move freely about the facility and perform the functions of the job as outlined in the job description.
