Current Opening: We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

In this entry-level role, you will provide on-site technical assistance for hardware and software issues, while also supporting the help desk and other departments within our busy managed service provider (MSP) environment.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science, Computer Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience; an Associate's Degree with relevant work experience will also be considered.
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with hardware and software systems is essential; experience with local area networks (LAN) is preferred.
  • Prior experience in desktop support or help desk roles is advantageous.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies are beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications in a professional setting is preferred.
  • Strong customer service abilities are required.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is necessary.
Work Environment

Conditions: This position involves both indoor and outdoor work within an office setting.

Equipment Utilized: Office equipment, computers, and telecommunication devices.

Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to perform medium work, including lifting up to 60 lbs. The employee will frequently sit for extended periods and utilize hands for operating computers and office equipment. Regular communication through speaking and listening is essential.
