Job Summary:

The Banquet Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests and servers while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, as outlined in the Banquet Event Order.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-notch service to guests and servers, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hotel standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and serve beverages and cocktails according to hotel standards and presentation guidelines.
  • Set up the bar according to hotel standards and Banquet Event Order to ensure efficient service.
  • Break down the bar after functions, storing liquor supplies and equipment according to hotel standards.
  • Follow all state liquor laws and regulations.
  • Be familiar with hotel services and facilities, and provide guests with information as needed.
  • Abide by all hotel policies and safety rules, and respond to guests' problems, complaints, and accidents.
  • Attend meetings as required by management, and perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, and/or experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Alcohol Awareness Certification, as required by state regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain composure and objectivity in stressful situations.
  • Basic arithmetic functions and financial knowledge.
