Job Overview

RHP Properties is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Twin Lakes community in West Evansville. As a key member of our community team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our community grounds and homes, providing exceptional customer service to our residents, and collaborating with our community manager to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Community Grounds Maintenance
    • Perform routine grounds maintenance tasks, including lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal.
    • Ensure community grounds are well-manicured and visually appealing.
  • Home Maintenance and Repairs
    • Perform basic repairs and maintenance on community-owned homes.
    • Identify and report any deficiencies or issues to the community manager.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Communicate effectively with residents, community manager, and other team members.
  • Inventory Management
    • Conduct regular inventories of maintenance and grounds equipment and supplies.
    • Advise the community manager of equipment and supply needs.
  • Health and Safety
    • Comply with national, state, and local health and safety laws to reduce accident occurrences and protect residents, team members, and vendors.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a community or property management setting.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with residents and team members.
  • Valid operator's license and good driving record.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC, and carpentry.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to efficiently perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
