About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at Block Advisors, an H&R Block brand. As a Tax Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized service.
  • Conduct tax interviews with clients to gather information and provide tax planning advice.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide tax audit support and representation to clients, ensuring they are prepared for any tax-related issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, and provide ongoing education and training to clients on tax-related matters.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning.
  • Experience working with individual tax returns, tax planning, and tax audit support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
