We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Position patients and select technical factors and equipment to obtain optimal quality scans.
- Operate portable ultrasound equipment and assist physicians with various recommendations for obtaining optimal studies.
- Deliver patient care and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Prepare ultrasound rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
- ARDMS Registry eligible and successful completion within the first year of employment.
- CPR Certification.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and use patient handling equipment when necessary.
