Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality imaging procedures and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in ultrasound technology and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate advanced ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images and provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Position patients, adjust equipment, and secure immobilization and support devices as needed to perform procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, test results, and follow-up instructions.
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for patients and their families.
  • Participate in quality control activities, including checking film quality and ensuring correct film labeling.
  • Assist with training and orientation of new staff members and students.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited AMA School of Sonography.
  • 1 year of experience as a Sonographer preferred.
  • Certified by Radiologic Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
  • CPR certification.
