About the Role

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with our radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough ultrasound exams, utilizing advanced technical skills and knowledge of anatomy and physiology to obtain high-quality images.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and provide high-quality patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technologies, techniques, and best practices to maintain expertise and provide exceptional patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Advocate Aurora Health's standards of excellence.
Requirements
  • ARDMS Registry eligibility and successful completion within the first year of employment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and populations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
