Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist Level I to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Position patients and select technical factors and equipment to obtain optimal quality scans.
  • Operate portable ultrasound equipment for procedures as requested throughout the hospital.
  • Assist physicians with recommendations for obtaining optimal studies by suggesting technical factors for procedures.
  • Deliver patient care and maintain department standards of continued quality improvement.
Requirements:
  • ARDMS Registry eligible.
  • Ability to make diagnostic judgments when scanning and present them to the Radiologist for interpretation.
  • CPR Certification.
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to work odd hours, including late hours and on-call shifts.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform lifting activities related to patients.
  • Exposed to radiation.
