Position Overview

Objective:
As a key member of the Pricing team, the selected individual will report directly to the Pricing Manager. This role requires a proven track record in adhering to FMC regulations pertinent to the international ocean and air logistics sector. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of national pricing strategies and daily quoting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete RFQ bid package submission process.
  • Oversee all aspects of RFI & RFQ completion, employing various software tools and methodologies to facilitate the A-Z bidding process.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of Air and Ocean import operations from start to finish.
  • Demonstrated experience in carrier negotiations, ideally in a Key Account Manager or Customer Service Representative capacity.
  • Background in customer service is considered an asset.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Collaborative team player with the capability to work autonomously.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to assess market trends and outcomes.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and commercial insight.
  • Familiarity with systems such as Cargowise, Cargosphere, and Salesforce.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
