Position Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and driven Senior Business Systems Analyst to become a vital part of The Temp Plugs team.

Role Summary:
The successful candidate will act as the Product Owner, serving as the key intermediary between business stakeholders and the technical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Ownership:
    o Assume the role of Product Owner for designated product(s), ensuring they align with business goals and user requirements.
    o Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the product, its users, and the broader business landscape.
  • Business Liaison:
    o Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business needs.
    o Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and the technical team.
  • Requirement Translation:
    o Convert business needs into clear, detailed, and actionable user stories.
    o Ensure user stories are well-defined, including acceptance criteria, and are ready for development.
  • Prioritization:
    o Work with business stakeholders to prioritize user stories and features based on business value, user impact, and technical feasibility.
    o Maintain and manage the product backlog, ensuring it reflects current priorities and business needs.
  • Documenting Business Processes:
    o Accurately document existing business processes and envision future state processes.
    o Utilize diagrams, screen mockups, and detailed documentation to enhance understanding of processes.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    o Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and technical teams.
    o Ensure alignment and manage expectations through regular communication and updates.
  • Monitoring and Metrics:
    o Track existing metrics and propose new metrics.
    o Collaborate with various stakeholders to provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    o Foster strong relationships with business users, developers, and other stakeholders.
    o Lead meetings such as requirement gathering sessions, sprint planning, and review meetings.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    o Maintain a solid understanding of technology to collaborate effectively with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, API engineers, UI/UX developers, and Technical Architects.
  • Quality Assurance:
    o Review and validate the developed product to ensure it meets business requirements and quality standards.
    o Provide constructive feedback and guidance to the technical team during the development process.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    o Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to the ongoing improvement of product development practices.
    o Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in business analysis and product management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to act as a strong liaison and build trust with business partners to understand the business area, translating it into requirements and prioritization.
  • Experience in liaising with the technical team to assist in translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with business users, developers, and other stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in monitoring existing metrics and proposing new metrics and KPIs.
  • Ability to document existing business processes clearly and envision future state processes.
  • Experience in reviewing and validating developed products to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.

Certification Requirements:
Any relevant business systems analyst certification is advantageous.
