Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

ABM Industries is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue through strategic sales and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute short and long-term sales plans to drive business growth and revenue
  • Maintain existing sales relationships and attract new prospects through networking, cold calling, and other means
  • Create and present persuasive sales proposals to potential clients
  • Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients
  • Work closely with mid and senior level management, marketing, and technical staff to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the market, ABM's solutions and services, and competitors
  • Use ABM-branded marketing materials to create customized and innovative sales proposals
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to ensure proposal commitments are delivered
  • Position yourself as a leader in your field and establish a diverse network of relationships
  • Maintain a database for the territory using Salesforce and effectively manage the assigned budget
  • Support the company's online and direct marketing campaigns and monitor bid schedules to understand the competition
  • Assist in training and development of sales staff and develop a network of skilled and informed operators
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in business development and sales
  • Bachelor's degree or significant related experience
  • Hunter mentality with services sales experience required
  • Manufacturing/Distribution Facility Services Sales experience preferred
  • Relevant and immediate sales contacts within the territory preferred
  • Work well under pressure to meet established goals
  • Salesforce or other CRM and Excel preferred
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse workforce and collaborate with operations and other departments
  • Strength in writing and presenting compelling sales proposals
  • Well organized and able to handle multiple proposals and processes simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Pay and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $63,175 - $90,250. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
