Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee project initiation, ensuring accurate monthly revenue recognition while identifying trends through comprehensive contract and variance analysis.
  • Compile and interpret financial reports to support Project Managers in achieving their profitability objectives.
  • Validate employee chargeable time and expenses, adhering to established accounting standards and billing protocols.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, supplemental agreements, and task orders, utilizing Vision software.
  • Conduct contract management and thorough reviews.
  • Maintain effective communication with Project Managers regarding contracts, modifications, approvals, and additional services linked to revenue generation and billing.
  • Prepare and manage client invoicing processes.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, clients, sub-consultants, and other internal departments to ensure timely payments and responses to inquiries and contract modifications.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in accounting.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A detail-oriented problem solver.
  • Strong organizational, writing, and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Experience in a construction or engineering environment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Deltek Vision is a plus.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
