Key Responsibilities
  • Establishing projects and recognizing monthly revenue while identifying trends through contract and variance assessments.
  • Compiling and analyzing financial reports to support the Project Manager in meeting profitability objectives.
  • Verifying employee billable hours and expenses in line with established accounting standards and billing practices.
  • Managing project contracts, supplemental agreements, and task orders within Vision software.
  • Overseeing contract management and review processes.
  • Maintaining effective communication with Project Managers regarding contracts, modifications, approvals, and additional services related to revenue and billing.
  • Preparing and managing client invoicing.
  • Coordinating with Project Managers, clients, sub-consultants, and other internal departments to ensure timely payments and responses to inquiries and contract modifications.
  • Executing additional tasks as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Accounting.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A detail-oriented problem solver.
  • Strong organizational, writing, and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Experience in a construction or engineering environment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Deltek Vision is a plus.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
