Job Description

At Chervon North America, we are seeking a highly skilled Product Safety and Compliance Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the legal compliance and safety of our products, protecting our corporate interests and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory standards, product certifications, and product liability in powered products. They will be responsible for managing safety escalations, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions. Additionally, they will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive decisions related to product disposition and corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage safety escalations and track safety cases from initial reporting through conclusion.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive decisions related to product disposition and corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide training and support to employees on compliance and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in product safety and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and product certifications.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
