Join Our Team as a Surgical Intensive Care Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team as a Surgical Intensive Care Advanced Practice Provider. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing service line at CAMC Memorial.

The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care and surgical patient care, with a strong background in leadership and team-building. They will work closely with a team of surgical intensivists to develop and implement management plans for critically ill surgical patients. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in the development of practice management guidelines and contribute to research focused on acute care surgery and surgical critical care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the surgical intensive care unit
  • Develop and implement management plans for critically ill surgical patients
  • Work closely with surgical intensivists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in the development of practice management guidelines
  • Contribute to research focused on acute care surgery and surgical critical care

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in nursing or a related field
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, Day Shift
