Regional Sales Manager Job Description

Goodyear Belts by Adventry Corp. is seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our Eastern United States territory. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding our market presence, and developing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets and expand our market presence.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, identifying new business opportunities and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Lead a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, guidance, and motivation to improve performance and exceed sales goals.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, informing sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts with company goals and product offerings.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, promoting our products and services.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive WD and aftermarket industry.
  • Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager or similar role in the automotive or industrial sector.
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and driving profitable growth.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive market, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales forecasts and plans.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and adapt sales strategies.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the Eastern United States.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
