About the Opportunity

The Regional Sales Account Manager will play a critical role in driving revenue growth for City Experiences' City Cruises operation in Washington, DC. This individual will be responsible for executing the sales plan for their assigned market segment and sub-segments, maximizing revenue generation from that territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of customer and market needs.
  • Execute the sales plan using effective sales techniques.
  • Generate leads through telemarketing and networking with current customers.
  • Convert prospects to clients using effective closing techniques.
  • Identify customer needs and use in-depth product knowledge to prepare winning proposals.
  • Present proposals convincingly over the phone and in person.
  • Upsell existing clients to higher value items.
  • Handle objections and solve customer problems.
  • Establish relationships with associations and generate referrals.
Guest Service
  • Ensure prompt responses to customer inquiries.
  • Communicate product details accurately to the operations team.
  • Work with the Director of Sales to resolve customer issues.
  • Follow up with customers to develop the account and obtain feedback.
Administrative
  • Use Salesforce to plan and manage sales activities.
  • Use ANCHOR to accurately book orders.
  • Maintain proper personal organization and time management.
  • Work with the Sales Assistant to collect payments and maintain accounts receivable.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, including 1 year of outbound telephone sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or related experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and CRM software.
  • Analytical skills to identify and exploit selling opportunities.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Proposal writing skills.
  • Ability to persuade and influence people.
  • Proven leadership skills.
