Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established protocols.
  • Service and repair equipment to meet Canon's high standards.
  • Compile reports analyzing product failure trends and serviceability issues, ensuring thorough documentation.
  • Exceed customer expectations by providing efficient and accurate maintenance services.
  • Maintain all technical documentation, including Field Service Reports and Expense Reports, while mentoring junior engineers.
  • Address escalated technical and customer service issues as needed.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of multiple product lines, excelling in troubleshooting and diagnostics.


About You: Skills & Qualifications

This position is customer-facing and requires adherence to customer policies, which may include health and safety protocols.

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A combination of education and vocational training, along with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
  • An Associate's degree in electronics or electrical engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • Direct experience as a field technician.
  • The ability to meet performance standards for technical quality and customer satisfaction.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required.
  • The capability to thrive in a 24/7 operational environment, including shift work and on-call duties.
  • Compliance with security clearances necessary for customer site access.
  • The physical ability to lift 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday.
