About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at ASSA ABLOY. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, increasing sales, and working closely with operations personnel to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confer with customers and industry representatives to evaluate and promote improved and expanded sales in the region.
  • Review operations of competing organizations and plan and direct sales programs to support or develop new markets.
  • Develop and maintain existing customer accounts, providing exceptional customer service and communication.
  • Coordinate sales with operations to ensure seamless execution.
  • Maintain, review, and revise costs to optimize profitability.
  • Establish and monitor sales reporting as needed.

Working Conditions and Requirements:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Warehouse duties performed in a non-climate controlled environment.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-to-eye coordination for operation of hand/power tools.
  • Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting.

Requirements:

  • Two to three years of sales and account management experience in a large geographic territory, preferably in the building supplies industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in outside sales with a hunter approach.
  • College education or related experience/skills.
  • Must live in the territory.
  • Must perform work in non-climate controlled conditions.
  • Valid driver's license, with overnight and extended stay travel (50% travel or two weeks per month).
