Position Summary

The role involves executing tire maintenance and repair tasks, alongside performing general service functions on a variety of customer vehicles, including fleet inspections and managing scrap tires. This position focuses on Large and Giant mining tires and equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct tire services including mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires at customer mining sites as required.

+ Service a wide range of Off-The-Road and mining equipment tires.

+ Operate specialized hydraulic tools for tire changes.

+ Perform regular preventative maintenance on customer premises, inspecting tires for wear, damage, and making suitable recommendations to owners/operators.

+ Identify service needs and opportunities for additional tire purchases, retreading, parts, or service work.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.

+ Undertake any other assigned duties.

Driving Requirements: A valid driver’s license is necessary for vehicle operation.

Minimum Qualifications

+ Experience with heavy-duty and commercial tires.

+ High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

+ Ability to lift and/or move tires weighing significant amounts, with or without mechanical assistance.

+ Capability to perform repetitive and sustained physical exertions, including forceful exertions and awkward postures.

+ Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug test, physical examination, and background check to ensure a collaborative and effective team environment.
