KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct repairs and perform scheduled maintenance services. Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and machinery.
  • Utilize vehicle diagnostic systems to analyze failure modes and initiate or delegate repairs.
  • Complete necessary documentation using fleet maintenance software for vehicle repairs, parts usage, and repair time tracking.
  • Review and address repairs noted on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
  • Perform safety inspections on vehicles and equipment.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns as needed. A Class B CDL is preferred or the ability to obtain one in the future.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with corporate and OSHA standards.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Requires significant physical activity, including heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects exceeding 50 pounds.
  • Work may occur indoors in a workshop or outdoors for roadside repairs. Environments are typically well-lit and ventilated, but may require working in confined spaces and handling greasy or dirty tools, necessitating adherence to safety protocols.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate effectively in English.
