Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety and Quality Assurance
    • Ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications to patients
    • Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Pharmacy Operations and Management
    • Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, including inventory management and workflow optimization
    • Lead and direct a team of Pharmacy Technician Support Staff to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Customer Service and Communication
    • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Professional Development and Growth
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and regulatory requirements
    • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed
    • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)
  • Skills and Experience
    • Proven experience in pharmacy operations and management
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
