RN Full-Time Job Description

At LCS Senior Living, we offer a unique opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents and work collaboratively with our Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants to ensure the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recognize and report potentially serious clinical manifestations and administer treatment within the scope of authority and practice.
  • Accurately administer medications/treatment and document all medications in accordance with department procedures and expected practices.
  • Inform physician, nurse manager, or responsible party/family of changes in resident's condition or incidents when appropriate.
  • Ensure each resident's Care Plan is followed to meet the residents' needs and state requirements.
  • Direct adequate qualified staff members to facilitate the medical plan of care, which meets the standards for nursing practice.
  • Maintain high levels of professionalism, both in conduct and appearance, at all times.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Maintains a current license with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners.
  • Have a current card for the successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR - Healthcare Provider).
  • Have a minimum of one-year Medical-Surgical, Long-term care, or Home Care nursing experience preferred.
