Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled RN to provide direct nursing care to our residents in a PRN capacity. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and their families.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, documenting treatment, and recognizing and reporting potential clinical manifestations.
- Delegate and supervise the care provided by our Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.
- Inform physician, nurse manager, or responsible party/family of changes in resident's condition or incidents when appropriate.
- Ensure each resident's Care Plan is followed to meet the residents' needs and state requirements.
- Direct adequate qualified staff members to facilitate the medical plan of care, which meets the standards for nursing practice.
- Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
- Ensure all transfer, discharge, and admission information is complete according to policy and practice.

Requirements:

- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Maintains a current license with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners.
- Have a current card for the successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR - Healthcare Provider).
- Have a minimum of one-year Medical-Surgical, Long-term care, or Home Care nursing experience preferred.
