About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Surgical Technician to join our team at Covenant Medical Center. As a member of our surgical team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the operating room sterile field and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the operating room sterile field and ensure proper aseptic technique is utilized to prevent contamination and infection.
  • Pass instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery, and assist the registered nurse with circulating duties.
  • Perform in the role of second scrub and/or first assistant as needed.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or Armed Services Surgical Technology program.
  • National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
