Carillon Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to residents and collaborate with our Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants to ensure the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer medications and treatments accurately and precisely, documenting all medications in accordance with department procedures.
- Inform physicians, nurse managers, or responsible parties/families of changes in resident condition or incidents when appropriate.
- Ensure each resident's Care Plan is followed to meet their needs and state requirements.
- Supervise and assist assigned Certified Nurse Aides and other nursing staff, delegating assignments and ensuring completion.
- Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing.
- Current license with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners for Vocational Nursing.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR - Healthcare Provider) certification.
- At least one year of experience as a charge nurse in a geriatric setting (preferred).
