Software Development Engineer II, EC2 Capacity Blocks

At Amazon, we're building a team of talented software engineers to work on EC2 Capacity Reservations. As a member of this team, you'll have the opportunity to design and develop scalable and reliable systems that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new features and services
* Work closely with senior engineers to mentor and guide junior team members
Requirements
* 3+ years of professional software development experience
* 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems
* Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
* 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Compensation
The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
