Job Title: Field Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Representative to join our team. As a Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment in various dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, inspect, and repair electrical equipment, including switchgear, PDUs, RPPs, BMS systems, PLCs, HMIs, drives, and power monitoring equipment.
  • Perform warranty work and start-up service, as well as testing, calibration, and maintenance of customer products.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and other service representatives.
  • Document all required information for each site, including technical reports.
Requirements:
  • Vocational education, military training, or transferable experience in electronics, electrical theory, or a similar discipline.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant mechanical, electrical, and/or power distribution service experience, with technical proficiency in electronic/electrical component theory.
  • Experience writing reports and presenting information to managers, clients, and customers.
  • The ability to calculate figures and amounts, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Experience in testing, maintenance, and/or upgrades in areas such as low or medium voltage switchgear, transformers, relay protection systems, and control systems.
  • The ability to interpret blueprints and other service documents, including electrical drawings.
  • The capacity to move service equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
