Job Title: Patient Service Representative

At URS Medical Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling customer contact received in person, over the telephone, by fax, or via the web.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, qualify, and process customer orders in a timely, efficient, accurate, and courteous manner.
  • Investigate and respond to customer inquiries regarding shipments, products, deliveries, and complaints.
  • Assist in the entire supply billing and collection cycle as directed by management.
  • Obtain prior authorizations and statements of medical necessity.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of supporting documentation to meet compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Verify Medicare, Medicaid, and Insurance coverage as required, with both primary and secondary payers.
  • Communicate payer guidelines clearly to all staff impacted.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private medical billing.
  • 2 years of education or experience is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in DME or home health preferred.
