Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm and Low Voltage Technician to join our team at School Facility Management. As a key member of our electrical and low voltage services division, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems, as well as security cameras, alarms, and access control systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive fire alarm inspections, including testing and repairs, with proficiency in Honeywell, Silent Knight, Notifier, and Simplex equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair a wide variety of low voltage systems, including security systems, access control, and CCTV.
  • Provide training to colleagues and supervise fire alarm and low-voltage vendors.
  • Demonstrate a passion for working with low-voltage equipment and a commitment to ongoing learning.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the commercial fire alarm field is mandatory.
  • Current NICET Fire Alarm System Level II Certification or higher is necessary.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and insurability to drive a company vehicle is required.
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends when occasionally necessary, with minimal overtime.
