Team / Role Overview

The Banking & International Risk (BIR) Business Management team is an innovative unit within the Chief Administrative Office (CAO) of BIR, dedicated to providing comprehensive support to BIR divisions worldwide.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift frequently based on the evolving needs of BIR. This role presents a unique opportunity to be part of a developing team, tasked with enhancing support across the extensive BIR workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating collaboration among teams: engaging with various stakeholders such as Enterprise Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, and Governance teams to ensure cohesive support for BIR divisions.
  • Managing issues: providing guidance in the formulation and structuring of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), overseeing issue remediation, monitoring progress, and escalating performance concerns as necessary.
  • Coordinating examinations and information requests from both external (e.g., regulatory) and internal (e.g., Internal Audit) sources.
  • Leading project management efforts and executing BIR-wide initiatives.
  • Driving strategic projects aimed at simplification and enhancement of best practices across BIR.
  • Acting as a flexible resource: adapting to support BIR's changing priorities as needed.

  • Meticulous attention to detail, with the capability to comprehend and articulate complex credit processes.

Experience:

Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:

  • First or second line of Credit Risk.
  • Internal Audit, issue management, or governance controls.
  • Policy, procedures, and process development.
