Job DescriptionJob Title: Building Envelope Technical Specialist

The Building Envelope Technical Specialist will play a crucial role in the success of our projects, working closely with project leaders to conduct and manage projects from inception to completion. This position requires a strong understanding of construction practices, building materials, and field investigation related to building performance.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct condition assessments and evaluations of existing building envelopes and other building systems and structures.
  • Investigate distress conditions and issue technical reports.
  • Develop details and specifications to repair existing building structures or systems.
  • Provide design assistance and building envelope consulting services on new construction projects.
  • Document and communicate field conditions to project leaders and teams.
  • Perform project management tasks, including preconstruction submittal and shop-drawing reviews, scheduling, and implementation of project needs.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction management, architecture, or engineering.
  • Three to seven years of construction-related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, including terminology, building materials, and field investigation related to building performance.
  • Relevant certification through ACI, ICRI, or IIBEC is a plus.
  • Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification.
