We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the PCU-East/Tele department at Longview Regional Medical Center. About the JobJob Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the PCU-East/Tele department. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Supervise and direct the activities of licensed and unlicensed caregivers and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with nursing practice standards, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire.
- Approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
