Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, and a passion for delivering exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
- Current Texas RN license or current Compact state license.
- AHA Healthcare provider BLS; ACLS required within 6 months of transfer or hire if not current.
- Critical Care Level 1 obtained within first 6 months of hire.
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program.
- Approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required within 90 days of hire.
