Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service Associate. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a positive shopping experience, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Bag groceries and provide carry-out service to vehicles, ensuring a safe and efficient process.
  • Retrieve carts from the parking area, empty bottle bins, and clean bottle machines and return areas.
  • Collect, return, clean, and organize shopping carts, and load groceries into customers' vehicles.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of store products and be able to assist guests with their purchases.
  • Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department, adhering to company standards.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve store goals and objectives.
  • Perform cleaning duties and other assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Good oral communication skills and ability to interact politely and effectively with customers.
Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures) and is exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
