About the Role

At HDR, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Inspector to join our Florida CEI program. As a key member of our team, you'll work on fast-paced, short-duration projects within Florida, primarily focusing on FDOT projects involving milling and resurfacing, bridge construction, signalization, earthwork operations, stripping operations, and final estimate preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently on FDOT projects, interacting daily with FDOT Project Administrators and other personnel.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepare and submit accurate reports and estimates.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
Requirements
  • 10 years of relevant highway/roadway or bridge inspection experience.
  • Technical school or Associate's degree.
  • Relevant industry certifications, including CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level 1, CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level 1, and others.
  • Ability to interpret construction schedules.
  • Local candidates preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Must be willing to work as needed on nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
