We are seeking a highly skilled CEI Inspector to join our team at Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering. As a CEI Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily inspections of asphalt, concrete, and earthwork to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Perform engineering inspections, including construction observation and field sampling, to ensure materials meet industry standards.
- Record daily notes and provide detailed reports to engineering staff.
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- EIT with a degree in engineering, engineering technology, or construction management desired.
- Two years of experience in construction inspection with a minimum of one year of bridge and/or roadway construction experience desired.
- Must have the following certifications: CTQP Final Estimates Level I, CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I, CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I, CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I, CTQP Pile Driving Inspection, CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection, IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I, FDOT Intermediate MOT, Nuclear Radiation Safety, and Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors.
This position requires minimal lifting of up to 50 pounds and the ability to travel and tour work sites under adverse environmental conditions.
Work EnvironmentThis is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime required.
CompensationSalary range: $18 - $28 per hour. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including educational background, years of industry experience, specific skills, certifications, and current market trends.
