We are seeking a highly skilled CEI Inspector to join our team at Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering. As a CEI Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily inspections of asphalt, concrete, and earthwork to ensure compliance with client and contractor specifications.
- Perform engineering inspections, including construction observation and field sampling, to ensure materials meet specifications.
- Record daily notes for engineering staff to ensure accurate documentation.
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- EIT with a degree in engineering, engineering technology, or construction management desired.
- Two years of experience in construction inspection with a minimum of one year of bridge and/or roadway construction experience desired.
- Must have the following certifications as required by the scope of work for the intended assignment on the project at the time of NTP:
- CTQP Final Estimates Level I
- CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
- CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
- CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
- CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection
- IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I
- FDOT Intermediate MOT
- Nuclear Radiation Safety
- Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors
This position requires minimal lifting of up to 50 pounds sometimes on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to travel and tour work sites under adverse environmental conditions, including loud noise levels, high dust and dirt, and extreme temperatures.
Expected Hours of WorkThis position is full-time (40 hours per week). Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, allowing one unpaid hour for lunch each day. While overtime is generally not anticipated, occasional projects or deadlines may necessitate additional hours, compensated according to company policy.

Actual compensation for this position varies and is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to educational background, years of industry experience, specific skills, certifications, and current market trends.
