Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clerk to join our team at My Florida Corp Defunct. As a Senior Clerk, you will be responsible for providing advanced secretarial services, preparing official correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the formal grievance process, including assigning grievance numbers and classifying, typing responses, and distributing within time limits.
  • Provide administrative support to the Institutional Inspector and Sergeant, including performing general office duties and taking minutes of meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including logs of formal grievances and files.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required, including receiving and distributing mail, ordering office supplies, and inputting monthly reports.
Requirements
  • Five years of secretarial or clerical work experience.
  • College education from an accredited institution can be substituted at the rate of 30 semesters or 45 quarter hours for each year of the required work experience.
  • Vocational/technical training in an area of secretarial science or office/business studies can substitute at the rate of 720 classroom hours for each year of the required work experience.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar usage.
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic.
  • Knowledge of basic filing practices.
  • Skills in typing.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
